St. John's Center for Cancer Care offers patients the most extensive cancer program in the 19-county area surrounding Joplin. We realized the importance of interdisciplinary, state-of-the-art cancer care back in 1979. Since then, we have continued to invest in the latest technological resources for our experienced team of medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, nurses, therapists and allied health professionals.
But technology is just one tool in the fight against cancer. The prognosis for patients improves dramatically when treatment includes the body, mind and spirit. St. John's remains in the forefront by providing important ancillary services, such as nursing care, nutritional counseling and support groups.
We also understand how the impact of cancer extends beyond the patient. That's why our entire staff remains sensitive to the needs of family and friends.
St. John's Center for Cancer Care is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
