St. John’s Prestige Hosts Health Fair

Joplin, Mo. – St. John’s Regional Medical Center’s Prestige and Health Connection will team up to offer a health fair in the Mercy Conference Center on May 5 from 8 a.m. to noon.  The fair is open to anyone age 50 and over. 

Free screenings will include bone density, blood glucose, foot screenings, glaucoma screenings, Heart Aware and Diabetes Aware.  There will also be booths with information from Area Agency on Aging, S & S Security, University of Missouri Extension, Referral One and St. John’s Audiology.  AARP will offer its Carfit program behind Brady Rehabilitation Center.

Cholesterol screenings will be available, but there is a $15 charge and appointments are required. Call Referral One at 625.2000 to register.
