St. John’s Hosts Hospital Gown Fashion Show & Ball

2/25/2009

Joplin, Mo. – St. John’s Regional Medical Center will host a hospital gown fashion show and ball beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 26 in the Main Lobby. KSN’s Gary Bandy will emcee the fashion show.

Thirteen hospital gowns were decorated by St. John’s employees in honor of American Heart Month. The gowns went on display in the Main Lobby on Monday, February 23 in order for people to cast their votes for their favorite gown.

Votes cost 25 cents each, or five votes for a dollar. The winner of the fashion show will be the gown that raised the most money by Monday, March 2. All money raised at the event will go to St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation.

The hospital gown ball, immediately following the fashion show, will feature refreshments, music and opportunities for participants to make their own hospital gown creation for $5.
