St. John’s Neosho Express Care Welcomes New Physician

Joplin, Mo. – St. John’s Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Rafael Santiago, MD to St. John’s Express Care Neosho location.
Dr. Santiago received his undergraduate degree from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo. He attended medical school at Autonomous Univesidad de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico and graduated from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Santiago completed his residency in family practice at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Santiago served as a specialist, active duty, in the United States Army and served as a commissioned officer, active duty, in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Santiago has been honored with several awards and recognitions. He earned the AMA Physician Recognition Award, Outstanding Volunteer Award from the National Marrow Donor Program, and a number of military accolades.
