St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation Receives Gift From Walton Family Foundation
St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation was recently given a $5000 gift from The Walton Family Foundation. The check was presented to Jennifer Kennally, President and CEO of St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation and Debbie Linnes, President and CEO of St. John’s Regional Medical Center. Arvest Bank President Doug Doll; Senior Vice-President for Account Services Shirley Mutz; Vice-President and Client Advisor and Investment Specialist and St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation Board Member Larry Cowger; and Senior Vice-President and Sale Rebecca Dunham, made the presentation.
St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization with the mission “to develop better understanding, acceptance and delivery of health services through regional leadership and the promotion of voluntary gift support.”
The Walton Family Foundation helps fund organizations in keeping with its fundamental philanthropic values. Annually, the Foundation supports worthwhile charitable activities that improve the quality of life in the region. According to Jennifer Kennally, St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation will use a portion of the funds for the upcoming Colorectal Cancer Awarness and Screening Program.
