St. Johns Announces New CEO

St. John's Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Debbie Linnes as our new Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Debbie has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for St. John’ since July of 2003 and most recently served as Interim CEO since February of this year.

Prior to her employment in Joplin, Debbie served as Senior Vice President of Patient Services at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado and Vice President of Clinical Services at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, California.

Debbie has played a key role in St. John’s successful growth and development over the last couple of years. “Her success as interim CEO has shown her ability to lead St. John’s. The selection of Debbie insures St. John’s will continue to be the trusted leader of healthcare in the Four State area,” says Bennie Crossland, St. John’s Board Chairman.
Debbie is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of Lafayette House, Ronald McDonald House, METS Ambulance Service and Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as Chairman-Elect, Vice-Chairman of the Education Division, Foundation Chairman, and Personnel/Compensation Committee Chairman. Debbie’s husband, Steve works as a teacher in Sheldon, Mo. They have three children.
