Have A “Blast” & Win A Dream Vacation For Four
St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation will present the St. John’s “Blast” event one weekend only on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Hammons Convention Center, Joplin, Mo.
The Blast features the greatest hits and fashion from the super 70s and 80s, giant video screens, dance party, an exciting floorshow and lip-sync competitions between area businesses. This year also features a dream vacation giveaway both nights.
Ticket sales for the Blast will begin Saturday, February 16, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and can be purchased at St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation, 3001 McClelland Blvd., Joplin, Mo. Tickets may also be charged by phone by calling 417-625-2266. Visa and Mastercard will be accepted. Event ticket costs:
- Center Room - $35 per person
- Reserved Table – (Seats 10) $350
- North / South Rooms - $30 per person
- Reserved Table – (Seats 10) $300
A 7-night dream vacation package for four will be given away each night of the event. The winners will choose one of four fabulous destinations; Maui, Hawaii; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Vancouver, BC or an Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Each vacation for four includes hotel, airfare and a travel allowance. Tickets for the vacation drawing are $10 for a book of five tickets and the winner does not need to be present to win. Proceeds from the Blast benefit St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation to address unmet health needs in the four-state area. Examples of services and programs funded by the Foundation include St. John’s Mobile Mammography unit, free colorectal cancer screening program, St. John’s Hospice and Palliative Care, funding for the Community Clinic of Joplin and the Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri and emergency medical equipment for firefighters, ambulance and other EMS departments in Jasper, Newton, McDonald, Cherokee, Crawford, Bourbon, Ottawa and seven other counties.
