St. John’s hosts Health Fair

St. John's Regional Medical Center announces plans for a comprehensive health fair for hunters just in time for hunting season. The health fair will feature various health screenings, gun safety & cleaning seminars, games and prizes. The event is set for Saturday, October 14, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Academy Sports, located at 1717 S. Rangeline Rd. in Joplin.

Activities Include:

Health Screenings – EKG, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, Blood Oxygen and Body Fat
Ear Plugs – Proper fitting from St. John’s Audiology
Gun Safety/Cleaning – provided by Academy Sports
Licensures – provided by Academy Sports
One-On-One with Dr. Peter Warner – get answers to your medical questions by St. John’s family practitioner

Games and prizes will be awarded every hour. So bring the family and come out to kick off a safe and healthy hunting season.
