What is Heroes in Healthcare?
Heroes in Healthcare is a program that allows patients, families, and friends to recognize and honor extraordinary caregivers. A Hero can be any St. John’s employee, physician, or volunteer who has provided exceptional care, service, dedication, or sensitivity. You may nominate an individual, group, department, or team.
How Does It Work?
You can make a tax-deductible contribution to the St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation in the name of a special caregiver at any facility by using the attached form or by contacting the Foundation directly at (417) 625.2266. The Foundation will, upon receipt of your donation, notify the Hero of their recognition and honor them with a distinctive Heroes in Healthcare pin at a special ceremony among co-workers. Funds from this program will go toward unmet needs within the hospital as determined with input from the St. John’s Employee Foundation Committee.
