The section discusses the most common diagnostic equipment used to determine the location and specific type of disease you may have. Each test provides different information about your body to your doctor, so you may be asked to have more than one of these tests.
It is important to be your own best health advocate. Follow all instructions you are given for care prior to your diagnostic appointment. When you check in for your test, let your technologist know if you have any unusual symptoms, or if you are or may be pregnant.
