Skilled Care
St. John’s Maude Norton Memorial Hospital provides skilled care for those patients who are well enough to leave the acute care level of the hospital, but not well enough to return to their home. The Skilled Care program offers an extended hospital stay for the convenience of the patients and their family. Any person who receives Medicare, and meets Medicare’s criteria, is eligible for an assessment of possible Skilled Care placement. Your physician can determine if Skilled Care is right for you.
