About St. John's
St. John’s has been the leading health care provider throughout the Four-State area for over 100 years. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1896, St. John's has grown into a comprehensive and advanced health system of hospitals, doctors and specialized medical services. Our medical staff consists of over 250 physicians and dentists who offer a wide range of medical expertise. Working with these physicians are over 2,200 skilled employees. Over 600 volunteers help provide hospital services, and over 50 area leaders serve on our hospital boards and committees.

As a result, we have earned the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
